A thru-hiker on the Appalachian Trail has reached New Hampshire, marking a significant milestone in their journey. The hiker, who has been documenting their experience on a blog, has completed over 1800 miles of the trail and is taking a zero day to rest before tackling the White Mountains National Forest.

The hiker's journey has taken them through several states, including Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont. In Connecticut, they spent three days resting at a farm house with a kind couple, Donna and Wayne, who provided them with hospitality and a warm welcome.

In Massachusetts, the hiker had a memorable experience at Sages Ravine, a beautiful section of trail that features pine trees, waterfalls, and a water crossing. They also visited Upper Goose Pond, a cabin with a lake and a dock, where they enjoyed swimming and playing cards with fellow hikers.

The hiker's experience in Vermont was marked by mud and rain, but they found it to be a fun and exciting challenge. They hiked the first peak above 4000 feet since Virginia, Killington peak, which was a thrilling experience.

## White Mountains Ahead

The hiker is now preparing to tackle the White Mountains National Forest in New Hampshire, which is expected to be a challenging and rewarding experience. They have received new gear, including a pair of shoes and a sleeping bag, and are feeling confident and ready for the challenge ahead.
