Company coverage begins with the regulatory announcement rather than the press summary. Index coverage begins with the provider's methodology document and review notice. Macro coverage begins with the statistics release or the policy statement, quoted rather than paraphrased.

Where a figure has been revised we say so and give the earlier value. Where a measure is defined by the company rather than by an accounting standard, we label it and point to the reconciliation. Where a market moved and no document explains it, we report the move and say the explanation is not established.
